We are delighted to invite you to the launch event of our upcoming publication «Children’s Rights and Finance: How the Swiss and Liechtenstein financial industry can promote and protect children’s rights».
This publication, commissioned by UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein and the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland and Liechtenstein and conducted by ECOFACT, offers valuable insights into the awareness and actions of banks, wealth and asset managers as well as insurance companies from Switzerland and Liechtenstein regarding how their products and services may impact children’s rights, positively and negatively. It identifies key levers that the financial sector should use to influence economic activities that contribute to the fulfillment of children’s rights and provides concrete recommendations for action. The study assesses these types of financial entities collectively and does not produce any kind of rating of individual institutions.
This launch webinar will open with an introduction by Bettina Junker, CEO UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Then, Linda Deflorin, Senior Manager Child Rights and Business, UNICEF and Bruno Bischoff, ECOFACT, Head of ESG Risk Advisory, will guide you through the study results and recommendations. Finally, perspectives from the field will be highlighted during the panel discussion, moderated by Alice Harbach-Forel, UN Global compact Network Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
